Description
Course Aim:
To improve the quality of everyday orthodontic cases with brackets and aligners
Objectives:
- Learn how to optimise finishing in the Straight Wire Technique
- How to maximise bracket prescription
- Understand the GET technique and bracket options
- How to optimise archwire selection and sequencing
- Learn how aligners work and understand their limitations
- Understand the difference between aligner and fixed appliance mechanics
- Recognise when TADs are required for fixed appliances and aligners
- Identify when a case is not progressing well and how to manage it
Outcome:
Achieve a higher standard of finishing taking into consideration the limits of everyday practice and in accordance with sound biomechanical principles
