From AI-driven diagnosis to smart personalised treatment

From AI-driven diagnosis to smart personalised treatment

  • One can trust AI if trusting the human experts behind
  • AI-driven diagnosis is more efficient and consistent
  • AI-driven treatment can be the perfect dental assistant
Although dentists often approach AI with caution due to the precision required in diagnosis and restorative treatment, responsibly trained AI has the potential to elevate clinical expertise. Through supervised learning and close collaboration between dental specialists and AI engineers, AI can deliver fast, consistent, and highly accurate support for diagnosis and digital treatment. If AI is integrated into digital workflows, it should get empowered as continuously learning assistant, through clinical feedback and real-world outcomes. When guided by expert judgment, AI can enhance precision, streamline restorative treatment, and shape the future of patient-centered oral healthcare.

Maximize your dental practice using the full potential of a Digital workflow

Maximize your dental practice using the full potential of a Digital workflow

  • Simplified digital workflow for full mouth rehabilitation
  • Dynamic facial analysis for esthetic-driven treatment planning
  • Integration of intraoral scanning, CBCT and digital design software
  • Digital production using 3D printing and milling technologies
  • Predictable, efficient rehabilitation with reduced time, cost and clinical complexity
The goal of this lecture, is an introduction to a new simplified approach for digitally designing full mouth rehab cases to improve patient’s esthetics and function using dynamic facial analysis, intraoral scanners, CBCTs, 3D printers, milling machines & digital softwares.
We will show you how this approach aids in transforming complicated esthetic cases into a simple restorative case, using logic thinking and a predictable digital workflow leading with less costs, time and effort.

Digital Dentistry
― Modern Approach to Aesthetic Ceramic Restorations

The utilization of digital technologies in the field of restorative dentistry is fast becoming the norm in the everyday dental practice. However, the implementation and application of these technologies in the workflows of restorative dentistry can be challenging and, at times, frustrating.
The aim of this lecture is to highlight some of the key features in improving and simplifying the digital workflows in the field of direct, indirect and implant restorative dentistry to ensure predictable, repeatable and outcomes of the highest standards.
Development in material technology has given us the tools to be more minimally invasive in our preparation designs and reduce the biological cost on our patient’s dentition. New techniques with these materials will allow us to be more accurate, less invasive, and conserve more tooth structure. These key points are in line with the philosophy of “teeth for life” for our modern day patients and will be discussed during the presentation.

From Scan to Smile: AI for diagnosis and digital prosthodontics

From Scan to Smile: AI for diagnosis and digital prosthodontics

  • One can trust AI if trusting the human experts behind
  • AI-driven diagnosis is more efficient and consistent
  • AI-driven treatment can be the perfect dental assistant
AI in oral healthcare is still approached cautiously considering the high personalised demands for diagnosis and prosthetic treatment. Yet, responsibly trained AI has the potential to elevate clinical diagnosis and prosthetic treatment. Indeed, supervised learning and close collaboration between dental specialists and AI engineers, can allow AI to be delivering fast, consistent, and highly accurate support to prosthetic dentists for diagnosis and digital treatment. AI tools could be further empowered by integration into digital workflows, while continuously learning through clinical feedback. When guided by expert judgment, AI can become a perfect dental assistant while striving for personalised smart prosthodontic treatment.

The HD Denture: a hybrid digital workflow for complete dentures

The HD Denture: a hybrid digital workflow for complete dentures

  • Step-by-step hybrid workflow for predictable complete denture fabrication
  • Clinical indications and characteristics of milled and 3D-printed complete dentures
  • Current possibilities and future developments of digital complete denture protocols
The digitalization of complete denture fabrication has introduced significant improvements in efficiency, standardization, and reproducibility; however, a fully digital workflow is still not applicable to all clinical scenarios. The aim of this presentation is to introduce the HD Denture concept, a hybrid digital workflow that integrates digital and analog techniques within a flexible and structured clinical and laboratory protocol, according to clinical needs, operator experience, and available technologies. The presentation explores the current possibilities of digital complete dentures and provides an in-depth description of milled and 3D-printed prostheses, focusing on materials, manufacturing processes, and clinical applications. Future perspectives of the HD Denture protocol are presented, highlighting how technological and material advancements may further expand digital applications while preserving the value of traditional prosthodontic basics within an evolving digital environment.

The cutting edge of digital dentures

デジタルデンチャー最前線

  • Digital workflows improve efficiency and consistency through simplified procedures and CAD/CAM precision.
  • More flexible and cost-effective solutions with milled and 3D-printed dentures.
  • Future shift toward AI-driven prosthodontics and fully digital removable prostheses.
