Comprehensive Implant Strategy
— Function, Esthetics, and Long-Term Prognosis —

包括的インプラント戦略:機能・審美・予後を見据えて

This session will explore implant positioning and tissue management, prosthetic design centered on IRPD concepts, and emerging perspectives in the treatment of peri-implantitis. Drawing from extensive frontline clinical experience, the speakers will share practical insights while discussing diagnostic principles, treatment planning, and clinical strategies that can be directly applied in daily practice. Through a practical and multidisciplinary approach, this session aims to provide clinicians with a deeper understanding of how to improve the quality, predictability, and long-term success of implant therapy.

Tissue management for aesthetic implant treatment

Tissue management for aesthetic implant treatment

  • Implant position
  • Soft & hard tissue graft
  • Tissue sculpting
Tissue management in implant treatment is essential for achieving natural gingival contours and harmonious prosthetic outcomes. This presentation will discuss the importance of establishing an appropriate three-dimensional implant position as a foundation, performing bone grafting and connective tissue grafting when necessary to improve the quantity and quality of hard and soft tissues, and optimizing gingival contours through tissue sculpting.

Key Considerations for Achieving Long-term Stability of Implant Removable Partial

Key Considerations for Achieving Long-term Stability of Implant Removable Partial

  • Implant-Retained Partial Dentures (IRPD)
  • Three Treatment Strategies
  • Key Principles of Prosthetic Design
Implant-retained partial dentures (IRPDs) are an effective treatment option for controlling the three-dimensional movement of RPDs and improving masticatory function and patient comfort. However, clear guidelines for achieving long-term stability have yet to be fully established. Based on long-term clinical cases, this lecture will discuss case selection, three treatment strategies, and key design considerations, while exploring the factors essential for successful IRPD treatment.

Strategic Management of Peri-Implantitis Using a Novel Treatment Chart: Key Principles of Regenerative Therapy for Peri-Implantitis

  • Strategic Management of Peri-Implantitis Using a Novel Treatment Chart
  • Selection of Appropriate Regenerative Materials
  • Key Considerations for Regenerative Therapy in Horizontal Bone Defects
Existing diagnostic methods for peri-implantitis often show considerable discrepancies with clinical findings, making accurate assessment challenging in many cases. To address this issue, we have developed a novel diagnostic and treatment chart that has demonstrated favorable long-term outcomes, which will be presented in this lecture. Furthermore, for horizontal bone loss, which has traditionally been considered difficult to treat, we have achieved stable treatment outcomes by applying Laser-assisted Bone Regenerative Therapy based on the Laser-Driven Accelerated Healing concept in combination with Cytrans Granules. These cases will be presented, and the effectiveness of this approach will be discussed.
