Recently, interest in aesthetic medicine has continued to rise, particularly among younger people, and in the field of aesthetic dentistry there has been increasing demand for office whitening, which provides rapid and noticeable results. This lecture reconsiders the conventional home-whitening-centered approach and proposes a new treatment strategy based on office whitening, which offers superior immediacy of effect. Furthermore, it discusses a treatment system that utilizes dental esthetics as an entry strategy for the development of comprehensive oral care including prevention and maintenance, thereby encouraging patients to continue regular dental visits.

Tooth bleaching is an important option in esthetic dentistry; however, achieving optimal esthetic outcomes often requires appropriate integration with resin infiltration and adhesive restorative treatments. This lecture will review the effects of tooth bleaching procedures on dental hard tissues and adhesive interfaces, and discuss the timing of bonding procedures, material selection, and coordination with restorative treatment. Clinical applications of resin infiltration for white spot lesions and mild color discrepancies will also be presented. Practical combination strategies will be introduced to help clinicians achieve predictable esthetic results while maintaining minimally invasive and efficient clinical workflows.

In recent years, the priority of patients' dental treatment has been aesthetics and MI dentistry.
For the improvement of the aesthetics problem of the anterior teeth, orthodontic treatment and whitening are the first priority.
And if patients have the other morphological problems of the anterior teeth, additional direct CR restoration is extremely effective.
In this symposium, we want to introduce the MI aesthetic treatment case improved by home whitening and diastema closure restoration using direct CR material.
