As dental practices increasingly face challenges such as rising labor costs and a shortage of dentists and dental hygienists, short-term measures alone are unlikely to address the root causes. Guided by the principle that “structure follows strategy,” we began by carefully defining our core business around the concept of becoming “a dentist for life__” for each patient. In this presentation, we would like to humbly share the steps we have taken along the way―including how we have worked to build an education-centered business model and develop reproducible management systems―through concrete examples from our own experience.

This presentation explores the role of digital technology in dental technician education and strategies for its standardization. I will introduce practical examples of CAD design education integrated with AI and present methods for a seamless transition to prosthetic restoration through the systematization of 3D printing. The discussion will focus on establishing an educational framework that maintains high clinical standards across the organization, independent of individual proficiency, and specific measures to transform the growth of young professionals into collective organizational assets through academic involvement.

Staff retention is one of the most critical challenges in dental practice management. This lecture will focus on three essential factors shared by successful organizations with low turnover rates: organizational culture, educational systems, and effective delegation of authority. By creating an environment where team members can continuously grow, share common values, and take ownership of their responsibilities, dental practices can develop resilient and self-motivated teams. Based on extensive experience in managing multiple dental clinics, practical strategies for building sustainable organizations and developing future leaders will be presented.
