On Friday, August 8, 2025, the new glass manufacturing plant at the GC Fuji Oyama Factory, commonly referred to as the Fifth Plant, was handed over to GC by the design and manufacturing contractor.
Installation and relocation of production equipment will start on August 19, marking the start of activities toward the official commencement of full-scale operations in October.
