Learn how to stain and glaze with light cured materials for tissue and tooth shaded restorations.

This 6-hour course covers techniques and strategies to characterize milled and printed restorations with today's nano-hybrid ceramic and pmma materials as provisionals and permanent restorations. Topics covered will include current materials available as well as equipment requirements to ensure optimal results. A brief presentation will be followed by a demonstration, and all participants will be able to characterize multiple printed and milled restorations with tissue and tooth shaded requirements. Recommended finishing techniques will also cover refining contours and surface texture control.

About the speaker: Michael has been a dental lab technician for 38 years. He retired from the United States Air Force after 21 years as a technician. During that time, he completed his associate's degree in dental laboratory technology, became a CDT in Crown and Bridge, and had experience working in labs from 12 to over 100 technicians. His experiences include working in both large production style labs as well as in-house laboratories. Upon Air Force retirement, he operated his own lab, where he specialized in full mouth reconstruction and anterior esthetic cases. Mike has been with GC America as a product specialist since 2012.
