GC America and Aspen Dental Launch COE-SOFT™ PRINT

GC America Inc., a global leader in dental materials science, and TAG The Aspen Group, one of the nation’s leading dental support organizations, have partnered to develop and launch COE-SOFT™ PRINT, a revolutionary soft denture liner designed specifically for digitally printed dentures. This breakthrough technology marks a significant advancement in removeable prosthetics, delivering enhanced comfort and precision for patients who depend on dentures.

As the U.S. population ages, the need for quality denture care continues to grow. Currently, approximately 57 percent of adults aged 65-74 wear some form of dentures, according to U.S. Census data and the Simmons National Consumer Survey. The American College of Prosthodontists reports that an estimated 120 million Americans are missing at least one tooth, with more than 36 million having no teeth at all – numbers expected to grow over the next two decades. This partnership delivers an innovative solution to meet this growing demand while improving fit, comfort, and patient satisfaction.

What makes COE-SOFT™ PRINT revolutionary is its ability to deliver a true soft liner that bonds seamlessly to digitally printed dentures — a breakthrough that has never been possible until now. This innovation bridges the gap between advanced digital denture workflows and the comfort patients expect from premium soft liners. By integrating COE-SOFT™ PRINT into the digital process, clinicians can finally offer a solution that combines precision, durability and superior patient comfort, setting a new standard for removable prosthetics in the digital era. The material is also multifunctional, as it can still be used on conventional removable prosthetics, making it versatile within the dental practice.

The development of COE-SOFT™ PRINT represents years of close collaboration between GC America and Aspen Dental. Eric D. Kukucka DD, vice president of clinical removable prosthetics and design technologies with TAG The Aspen Group, worked directly with GC America's research and development team from the earliest stages of product development, through rigorous clinical trials, and now to commercialization. Aspen Dental offices have long been one of GC America's largest providers of COE-SOFT™ in the United States, and this partnership builds on that strong foundation to advance digital denture technology.

This strategic alliance unites GC America's materials science expertise with Aspen Dental's extensive clinical network to deliver next-generation solutions for patients nationwide. Some Aspen Dental offices, known for their commitment to accessible, patient-centered care, are transitioning to exclusively manufacture digitally printed dentures, reflecting a broader industry movement toward digital workflows and advanced materials.

"This collaboration with Aspen Dental represents a meaningful step forward in transforming the denture experience for patients," said Joe Talanges, president and chief operating officer of GC America companies. "By combining our expertise in dental materials science with Aspen Dental's expansive clinical capabilities, we are delivering solutions that elevate both patient outcomes and satisfaction."

"Working closely with GC America from research and development through clinical trials has been an incredible journey," said Eric D. Kukucka DD. "COE-SOFT™ PRINT represents a true breakthrough — for the first time, we can offer patients the precision and efficiency of digital denture workflows combined with the superior comfort of a premium soft liner. This collaboration represents our ongoing mission to improve patient outcomes by making high-quality dental care more accessible, and the integration of COE-SOFT™ PRINT allows us to deliver enhanced comfort and precision for patients who depend on dentures every day."

"Digital denture technology is transforming how we serve patients, offering improved accuracy, faster turnaround times and a better overall experience," said Dr. Arwinder Judge, chief clinical officer with TAG The Aspen Group. "By partnering with GC America to integrate COE-SOFT™ PRINT into the digital workflow, we're ensuring that clinicians have access to the best tools and materials available. This ultimately benefits patients through superior fit, enhanced comfort and longer-lasting denture solutions that help them smile, eat and speak with confidence."
